Sepoy Aman Kumar who is one of the martyrs of the Galwan clashes between India and China.
Aman Kumar was a native of Sultanpur village in Mohiuddin Nagar in Bihar's Samastipur district. He was one of the 20 soldiers of the Indian Army who lost their lives in the violent face-off that took place between Indian troops and soldiers of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in Galwan Valley on the night of June 15.
Aman Kumar is survived by wife Minu Devi, father Sudhir Kumar Singh, mother Renu Devi, two brothers and a sister. Aman's elder brother works in a private firm in Delhi and the eldest sister is in the Bihar Police. His younger brother stays with his parents.
Family members revealed that Aman joined the Indian army in 2014 and was inducted into the 16 Bihar regiment. He got married in February 2019 and was posted in Leh-Ladakh region in February of this year. Aman came home for eight days before taking up his new posting in Leh-Ladakh, revealed his grieving father.
