    Sepoy Gurbinder Singh who is one of the martyrs of the Galwan clashes between India and China. 

    Sepoy Gurbinder Singh, who turned 22 years old on June 2, was engaged and his family planned to get him married as soon as he returned home on long leave. The native of Tolewal village in Sunam tehsil of Punjab's Sangrur district had joined the Army in March 2018. Gurbinder is survived by his parents Charanjit Kaur (60) and Labh Singh (65), who is a heart patient, along with his elder brother Gurpreet Singh and elder sister Sukhjit Kaur.

    "He talked to all of us around 18 days ago and he promised that he would call us back after a few days. He told us that within two months he would be posted a few kilometers downward where there was no network problem." said his elder brother.
