Red Army jawan Kundan Kumar of Saharsa district of Bihar has died in a violent clash with the Chinese army on the Indo-China border on Monday in the Galwan Valley of eastern Ladakh . Kundan Kumar was a soldier of Army GD.
Shaheed Jawan Kundan Kumar , younger son of Niminder Yadav of Aaran Ward No-13 village of Bihra police station area, was posted in Ladakh in the year 2012 as an Army Jawan.
The news of martyrdom of the jawan was given to the relatives by the army by telephone at around ten o'clock in the night. The parents and wife are in a terrible state of crying as soon as the family receives the news of Kundan's martyrdom. Weeds have engulfed the entire village.
In 2013, Kundan Kumar was married in Ghailad of Madhepura district. They have two sons. The elder son's name is Roshan Kumar, who is 5 years old and a three-year-old younger son named Rana Kumar.
Due to the martyrdom of Kundan Kumar, the shadow of the father has risen forever from the heads of these two innocent people.
The family of Shaheed Kundan Kumar, while confirming the news, said that information has been received from the phone. After that, everyone started collecting information from other sources including TV to listen to the news. Kundan, a father of two children aged six and four, joined the army in 2012. He was married to Baby Kumari in Inaraba village of Gheladh police station in Madhepura district.
Nishi Kumari, sarpanch of the panchayat said that such information was received in the village some time ago after which people are shocked. The family members including mother, father, fainted after hearing the news. People in the vicinity have begun to console the family of Veer Kundan after nightfall. SP Rakesh Kumar said that official information has not been received in this regard. According to family members, the dead body of the martyr is likely to reach by late night. After which the funeral will be done on Thursday.
